• Hl-dt-st Rw Dvd Gcc-4240n Drivers For Mac

I have a dell latitude c610 and i have the HL-DT-ST-RW/DVD GCC-4240N cd drive. I had some problems with this drive so i uninstalled it. When i try to reinstall it it says 'a probblem occured during this installation, the drive may not work'. I tried using it and nothing happens. i tried downloading the r59936 and it still doesnt work. On the device manager the little black exclamation mark is on the device name.

On the properties it says- windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware.The driver may be corrupt or missing (code 39). Can anyone help? Buy outlook for mac.
