This is affecting a few of my clients.

Actual results: The PDF file is streamed and you are prompted to save the file, but it is missing the.PDF file extension in FF 10.0.2 so it's showing as an unknown file type for opening. You can use the following URL to test this issue: Expected results: My ASP page streams a PDF to the client and it should be allowed to download as an attachment. 7 years ago Great suggestion Matthias! I checked and the filename being used DID have a ' (2)' in it. When I uploaded a new file that had no ' (2)' in it everything worked as expected. So I guess I have to wonder what makes this version of FF work differently vs Google Chrome, Safari, or Internet Explorer?

This would be hard to catch as an item in my content management system which holds the file that is being streamed to the client as I would have to monitor/edit file names as users upload them.
