Bug fix for iPad 4 zoom & crash with front camera, - Fixes for frame rate not changing despite setting it to 24 or 25, - Resolutions & Frame rates combination: We found several users confused with the combined settings, example setting 60 fps with 4K resolution and noticing that the app records at 1080p instead.

The settings now advice the best supported resolution for frame rate and vice versa so there can be no confusion, - iPhone 7 plus lens + Manual controls: We have seen several people complaining that manual controls do not work with iPhone 7 plus. That is not correct, manual controls are not supported for zoom lens only, the Telephoto & Wide angle lens do support manual controls. A warning has been added for the same when using zoom lens.

Note that Zoom (Dual) lens does not supports manual focus/exposure/white balance as it uses one of the two lens depending upon zoom level and so the focus/exposure setting may be meaningless on the other lens as you zoom. But other than that here are new exciting features in the app. Directly record video in Camera Roll without delays in copying files. Enable 'Save To Camera Roll' to ON in the settings to perform this action. We saw several users going through the hassles of manually copying the videos to camera roll & eventually got frustrated. Sometimes they did not have enough space to copy video to camera roll. Requires iOS 9.0 or later, - Additional option 'Move Video to Camera Roll' in savings option in app library. If you save recordings in App Library, you will find this feature handy to move one or many videos to camera roll in one go without delays in copying files and without any duplication.

Requires iOS 9 or later, - Fixes for Focus, Exposure, WB settings: Your manual Focus, Exposure, WB settings are not reset if you go and come back from other screens in the app. The reticle behavior is also consistent if you choose manual settings. Also the 'Lock' button was a cause of confusion and has been renamed to AF-L, AE-L, AWB-L to denote the correct meaning. Refer to user instructions in the app for details.

4.4 26 Oct 2015. Bug fixes for crashes when opening Projects, - New 400% video quality available on iPhone 6 & later devices running iOS 9 or later. Now you can record 1080p video at over 120 MB/s and save to camera roll using 400% setting. On iPhone 6s/6s+, you can get upto 200 MB/s bitrate with 4K video preset by choosing 400% video quality setting. But please note that 4K video at such a high bitrate may not be compatible with Camera roll, so you would need to save such videos to computer using iTunes File Sharing. Video stabilization for 4K video on iPhone 6s/6s plus.

Gky

By setting video stabilization to 'Standard', iPhone 6s plus users can enable Optical image stabilization for video recording. Do not use Cinematic Stabilization for 4K preset on 6s plus, else OIS will not work. Other bug fixes and performance improvements on iOS 9 or later. Please Note: 4K video is only supported on iPhone 6s/6s plus. If you like MoviePro, please do not forget to leave a 5 star rating in the AppStore.

Jamalien This really should be more popular Main use for me - Allows you to bypass the bs noise cancellation crap the stock camera app implements that makes everything sound muffled like you’re underwater. Can set which mic you want to take audio from and can record uncompressed. Honestly worth it for this alone.

Also obviously great for manual control of everything, well thought out interface and features etc. Get some stuttering in live video preview whilst recording on an 8 plus, but fortunately doesn’t translate to the file itself so no biggie. I’m not someone that knows much about video recording but enjoy shooting as a hobby. I wanted a good app for my iPhone X which allowed me to manually control my settings within the app and shoot.

MoviePro has it all. The is stable and quite responsive on the X. The only issue I’ve found which needs to be addressed is when turning on video stabilisation to standard for 4K @ 24, 48 and 96.

It works fine for 1080p but not 4K. I get like a repeated slice of video in the view finder.

Unless the “Reduced Feature Mode” is turned on, there is coloured line runs along the top of the frame in 1080 HD. Still not fixed in this latest release.

Can’t see how this wasn’t spotted when the developers debugged it as this is probably the default resolution for most people. Please fix this immediately. Update: This bug has now been fixed. Developer Response Thanks for reviewing MoviePro. Please update to iOS 11.2. The issue is fixed in it!
